Can you tell us a bit of your crafting journey from soldier, to teacher to business owner?
I served in the United States Army as a combat medic. I come from a big military family so serving my country is very important to me. Two of my own children are currently serving in the Army. I moved into teaching because the schedule allowed me the most time with my own children. My mother was also a teacher so it come to me pretty naturally. The last three years that I was teaching, I started my business. It took off because of my social media following. Once my business exceeded my pay as a teacher, I knew that I could step away from teaching and run my business full time.

What do you use your Create Room furniture for?

The Cubby is perfect for holding supplies that I use on a regular basis. The adjustable shelves make it easy and fast for me to adjust the space according to the supplies. I keep it under my counter and installed wheels on it so I can move it around when I need to.

Why do you choose to create? And what effect does it have in your life?
Most of what I do is resin art and I also work with polymer clay, art is really such a form of therapy for me, so being able to create and say I make a living doing it is such a blessing.
